Firefighters called to Broomfield Road in Swanscombe after e-bike fire

Firefighters were called after an e-bike caught alight.

Two fire engines attended the scene in Broomfield Road, Swanscombe last night (August 7).

Kent Fire and Rescue were alerted to the incident at 8:23pm.

Crews put out the blaze using hose reel jets and the flames were extinguished by 9.12pm.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the incident is not yet known but is believed to be accidental.
