Firefighters are investigating a blaze at a country park in Bean yesterday, which destroyed a storage container.

Two Dartford crews were called to Beacon Wood Country Park at 5.45pm to reports of an office alight.

They say the container was destroyed by the flames along with tools used to maintain the park.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

A Kent County Council spokesman confirmed a fire had destroyed the storage area.
