Five vehicle pile-up brings traffic to a standstill on M25 near Dartford

Traffic is being held on the M25 after a five vehicle smash.

The crash happened at about 1.25pm but no one has suffered any serious injures.

Traffic is currently stationary due to the accident which is on M25 anticlockwise from junction 3 for the M20 and junction 1 for the Swanley Interchange to Junction 2 for the A2 Darenth Interchange.

The traffic is being held back so the emergency services can deal with the incident.

Ambulance crews were also at the scene.

Nicola Forman spokesman for police said: "Kent Police was called following reports of a collision involving five vehicles on the M25

"No serious injuries have been reported"
