A woman who dedicated 20 years of her life to help save others has passed away.
Lynn Halbert, who worked as an ambulance technician at Thameside and Dartford ambulance stations, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in January.
She was presented with the Queen’s 20-year long-service and good conduct medal by the South East Coast Ambulance’s (SECAmb) in June.
The ambulance station in Coldharbour Road, Northfleet, flew its flag at half mast in tribute to their lost friend and colleague.
Her funeral is next week.
