Horses led to safety after fire in stable block in Gilden Hill Road in Swanley

Six horses were led to safety after a fire in a stable block overnight.

Fire crews were called out at just after 10pm last night to the stable block in Gilden Hill Road in Swanley.

Four fire engines and a bulk water carrier tackled the blaze, and the horses were taken away as around 50 straw bales were on fire.

There were no reports of injuries and the cause is not known.
