Upgrades at Darent Valley Hospital’s A&E in Dartford begin

Work to “revitalise” a hospital’s A&E department have begun.

The emergency department at Darent Valley Hospital in Darenth Wood Road, Dartford, should be upgraded within the next two weeks.

It means patients will have to put up with part of the A&E will being temporarily relocated.

A spokesman for the hospital said: “This is fantastic news, as the successful execution of this project will bring numerous benefits to our A&E department.These include improved patient flow, revamped staff working areas, and an enhanced overall patient experience.

We understand that visiting A&E during this period might be slightly inconvenient, and we want to assure you that we will strive to minimise any disruptions.

Thank you for your understanding as we work towards creating a better and more efficient environment for our valued patients and staff.
