There are hour-long queues on the M25.

Heavy congestion is building along the anti-clockwise carriageway towards the Dartford Crossing once again.

Queues are heavy once again on the M25 approaching the Dartford Crossing anti-clockwise with traffic tailing back to Orpington at J4

Traffic is said to be heavier than normal at junction 1A for the tunnels and Bob Dunn Way.

Queues are tailing back as far as junction 4 for Orpington and there are also residual delays on the A2 between Bexley and Bean.

Highways England says it is taking more than 60 minutes to clear through the tunnels.

An earlier accident on the clockwise carriageway in Essex has started to clear but traffic is busy approaching the QEII Bridge entering Kent.
