Knife-wielding robber threatens shop worker

POLICE are searching for a knife-wielding thief who threatened a female shop worker before making off with cash and cigarettes at a supermarket.
The man walked into the Co-op, in Hawley Road, Dartford, on Saturday, at about 7.45pm. He threatened the member of staff with a knife and demanded she hand over the money from the safe.
He escaped with the takings from the store and cigarettes in a shopping trolley before getting into a car waiting outside.
The robber is white, 25 to 35 years old, 5ft 7in tall and thin. He had straight, medium long hair and wore a black woollen hat, black fleece, black jogging trousers, white trainers and dark blue gloves. Part of his face was covered with a scarf.
