The M25 has reopened following an earlier crash involving two cars.

Two lanes on the anti-clockwise carriageway, between junction 1A and 1B, near Dartford, were closed following the incident.

National Highways said its traffic officers were at the scene and the vehicles involved have since been recovered.

Police officers also attended and no injuries were reported.

There are residual delays of around 20 minutes on the approach.

Motorists were stuck in long queues back to junction 3 earlier this evening but they have since cleared.
