A lorry driver has been caught watching television at the wheel.

Police pulled the trucker over on the approach to the Dartford river crossing after spotting him driving through a red cross signal indicating lane closures.

But officers then discovered he was watching a soap opera on his mobile phone - and not wearing a seatbelt.
