Drivers are still facing two-hour delays on the M25 due to a serious crash involving a motorcycle earlier today.
Two lanes on the A282 southbound remain shut at junction 1B near the Dartford Crossing, while the southbound lane has reopened.
This closure is to allow clear-up works to take place following the accident.
National Highways is still reporting two-hour delays on the clockwise carriageway heading back into Kent, with 30-minute queues headed anti-clockwise towards the tunnel.
It added that there is no estimated time for the road to fully re-open and is asking drivers to allow for extra time when travelling.
All emergency services were in attendance, including the air ambulance which was spotted at the scene.
Police say they were called shortly after 2.30pm.
A spokesperson for the force previously said: “Motorists are advised that the A282, near Dartford is closed in both directions following a serious collision.
“Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service are at the scene where both carriageways are currently closed.
“The air ambulance is also in attendance and motorists should plan their journeys accordingly.”
