A man attacked a member of staff during a robbery earlier this morning.

The assailant went into the store in St Vincent’s Road, Dartford, and fled with cash and cigarettes.

Kent Police were called at 7.17am after a man entered a shop and allegedly assaulted a member of staff, close to the junction with Bow Arrow Lane.

He is then reported to have left with cash from the till and a number of cigarette packets.
