A man in his 30s has been pronounced dead after police were called to a home in Dartford.

Officers confirmed they made the grim discovery after attending a property in Chapel Drive at around 6.05am.

A police spokesman said: "South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

"His next of kin are aware.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will now be prepared for the coroner."
