Dartford man found dead with stab wounds in Oakfield Lane named at inquest

A man who was found dead with stab wounds has been named.
Paul Green, of Oakfield Lane, Dartford, was found by his brother, who lived at the same address, on Thursday, May 14.
The 46-year-old was found down the side passageway of the property with stab wounds in his neck, chest and legs.
A murder investigation was launched by the police after the Mr Green was found dead.
Detectives were seen bringing boxes and bags out of the house including items of clothing.
One man, in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody but was released the following day pending further inquiries.
An inquest into Mr Green's death opened on Thursday at County Hall in Maidstone.
"He was a private person; we never had any contact with him..."
It was revealed he was identified through his finger prints and the cause of death was given as stab wounds to the leg, chest and neck.
The hearing was adjourned for a full inquest to be heard on Thursday, October 29, at a venue in Maidstone to be confirmed.
Raymond May, 83, has lived opposite the property where the incident took place for the past 43 years.
Speaking at the time of the incident, he said: “The first we were aware was when the police were here at around 8.30am.
“He was a private person; we never had any contact with him.”
