Police hunt for man who headbutted woman near playpark in Swanley

A woman was headbutted and kneed in the head during a violent assault near a children's playpark.

She was attacked during an incident in the play area off Leechcroft Avenue in Swanley.

The suspect, who is in his 40s and was wearing dark clothing, is known to the victim. He is said to have carried out last Friday's assault at around 6.50pm after following her from Swanley High Street.

Police attended and carried out a search for the man, but they still haven't found him.

Anyone who witnessed the assault, or who may have any other information to assist the investigation, is asked to call police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/153566/21.
