Five suspected migrants have been seen climbing out of a lorry roof on the motorway before running off.

One driver on the A2 in Dartford claims she saw a group of men climb out of the vehicle before making off.

It happened at around 10.50am today.

The motorist took to Facebook to share her shock at what she had seen.

She said: "Omg not a sight you expect to see when driving down the A2 towards London just as you approach the slip road for the M25.

"There's six or so men climbing out of the roof of the lorry and legging it up the carriageway.

"Police were notified by several people."

Since then, police have confirmed that five people will be taken to Dover and handed into the care of the Home Office Immigration.
