Sutton-at-Hone: Motorcyclist injured after crash on A225 Main Road

A motorcyclist had to be taken to a London hospital after a serious crash.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the collision happened at 10.34pm last night on the A225 Main Road, Sutton-at-Hone, Dartford.

It involved a blue Honda Jazz car and a blue Yamaha motorbike.

The motorcyclist, a man from Welling, suffered head injuries and is critical but stable in a London hospital.

The driver of the Honda, who police say is a local man, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital to be checked over.

Police Constable Simon Masterson from the Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "The Honda Jazz was travelling south towards Farningham when it appears to have turned right into Dairy Close and was in collision with the motorbike, which was travelling in the same direction.

"We are appealing for witnesses to contact us.

"We are especially interested in any CCTV footage from dashcams or people’s mobile phones, which may have caught the incident or the vehicles prior to it."
