KENT Police have appealed for witnesses after a 67-year-old motorcyclist died following a head-on collision with a car.

The accident happened in Hawley Road at Dartford shortly before 12.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday.

The motorcyclist has not been named but he lived in the Dartford area. An inquest will be held.

The Vauxhall Cavalier car was travelling from Dartford towards Farningham when it was in collision with the Triumph motorbike which was being driven in the opposite direction.
