A crash involving three vehicles closed two lanes of the M25 earlier this evening.

The accident between a lorry, car and van happened just after the Dartford Crossing in Essex and is causing major tailbacks.

Highways England closed the road between junction 31 and 1a clockwise, but all lanes are now open.

Officers recovered the vehicles.
