Singing star Olly Murs indulged his sweet tooth at Kent's newest sweet shop.
The new candy and milkshake shop Sam's Sweets n Shakes is now serving customers in Dartford with the X Factor star helping to open the store at the weekend.
It is the first venture into the business world for owner Sam Bantick who says he's "taking a plunge into the unknown" but is excited to open the jars and fire up the milkshake mixers.
He's taking over his dad's old sandwich shop in Princes Road so the overhaul to convert has been a labour of love as well for the 29-year-old.
Sam said: "I’ve always loved a sweet or two and when my dad was considering selling his sandwich shop I took a plunge into the unknown and completely refurbished the whole shop from top to bottom.
"It’s taken me a year to get the shop where it needs to be today.
"We did want to open the shop a long time ago but with all the restrictions and stuff we had to wait until we could open the shop properly as we didn’t want any restrictions once we opened."
Olly was all smiles as he arrived to help Sam launch the shop and pop to grab some pic' n mix up.
The Heart Skips A Beat singer tried the Oreo milkshake and described it as "unreal".
He added: "I've always put 100% into everything I've ever done and every success kept building and building so I would say to Sam just work hard and graft.
"If he believe he can achieve and he's already achieving – he's opened his store, it's up and running and all the sweets are in here."
The shop, which also has an online store and serves coffee and cakes, features all the classics sweets from rosy apples, rhubarb and custard, cola bottles and gummy bears.
Sam added: "All of our products are sourced from reliable sources where we pay premium prices to ensure the highest quality.
"There have been no shortcuts taken from the top of the range machines we use for ice creams, milkshakes and coffees to the finest sweets the market has to offer."
