Pensioner injured during burglary in Brickfield Farm Close, Longfield, by two men posing as delivery drivers

A pensioner was reportedly burgled after being “pushed to the floor” by two men posing as delivery drivers.

The incident happened at a home in Brickfield Farm Close, Longfield on Monday (July 22).

The victim answered a knock at his door at around 8.40am.

It is alleged he was pushed to the floor as the men entered the property and stole a quantity of cash and a watch.

One of the suspects is described as wearing a red and yellow top, and was carrying a parcel.

Officers have issued an image of a “suspicious” silver or gold Renault Clio that was seen in the area at the time.

They are keen to talk to anyone with private CCTV or doorbell footage that may assist the investigation.

Detectives are especially keen to hear from motorists with dashcam footage who travelled along the B260 Main Road between the junctions of Brickfield Farm Close and Fawkham Road, from 8am until 9am.
