Plans for more than 700 homes will go on display next week for people to have their say.
Building firm Taylor Wimpey is preparing four planning applications to submit to Dartford council over the finer details of an approved scheme to create up to 775 homes in an area called Stone Pit II, off Watling Street, Dartford.
A public exhibition is being held at Stone Pavilion, Stone, this Monday, August 15, between 3pm and 7.30pm.
People will be able to view the proposals and put forward any questions they have to the team.
The homes will be built in three phases, so is subject to three separate applications. The final application will deal with a proposed main spine road through the development.
As stated in the planning permission previously granted by Dartford council, 24% of the homes – which is up to 186 of the properties – will be affordable housing.
Community areas will also be built, such as children's play areas, and an on-site healthcare facility.
Proposals can be viewed here and feedback can be given between Monday, August 15 and Monday, August 29.
Senior land and planning manager at Taylor Wimpey South East Heather Allen said: "As a responsible developer, we want to give local residents an opportunity to have their say on our proposals.
“We understand that not everyone will be able to attend our public exhibition and our proposals will also be available to view online from Monday. Feedback can also be submitted via our website and we look forward to hearing people’s views.”
