Police and Border Force officers are thought to have raided a property on the exclusive Ingress Park development.

Eyewitnesses report a large house was surrounded earlier today by a number of officers taking part in what is thought to be an immigration raid.

Both police and immigration officers were in the area for several hours.

A Home Office spokesman said: "Acting on intelligence received, Immigration Enforcement officers carried out a visit yesterday, Tuesday 12 July, at a residential address in Ingress Park, Greenhithe, Kent. No arrests were made."
