The emergency services descended on a hospital car park this morning - to reports of a horse on the loose.

Police officers were spotted by motorists outside Darent Valley Hospital, in Dartford, at around 8.30am.

They were called to a report of a loose horse in the car park near the medical building just after 8am.

Officers attended and the steed was safely found.
