Police appeal for witnesses after thieves force way into home in Elm Road, Dartford and steal jewellery from inside

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after four people forced their way into a home and stole jewellery from inside.

The burglary happened at a home in Elm Road, Dartford, on Monday, October 15, between 6.20pm and 7.14pm.

Police believe four people forced their way into the house via the front door and stole a quantity of jewellery from inside.

The burglars searched in the bedrooms and kitchen before leaving the property via the back door.

Shortly after the incident four people, believed to be three men and one woman, were seen walking briskly away from the house.

The people were described as average build and height and wearing hooded tops.

The woman did not have her hooded top pulled up and is believed to have long hair.
