Police called to Alamein Gardens, Dartford, after 'woman dies suddenly'

Police closed off a road after a woman was found dead.

Officers were called to Alamein Gardens, Dartford, at around 11am yesterday to reports someone had died suddenly.

The death is being treated as unexplained and police were still at the scene conducting inquiries at 6.30pm.

A man who wanted to remain anonymous, whose 90-year-old parents live in the street, said: "I went to visit them earlier and we weren't allowed in the street to see them.

"Police wouldn't allow access to anyone coming or going."
