A life-size display of the Queen and her corgies has been vandalised for a second time in less than a week.
Ahead of the Jubilee weekend, ladies from Hartley Women's Institute set up the royal mannequin, complete with crown and robes, and cardboard pooches.
The display was all in place on Monday, May 30. However, less than a day later the monarch had been damaged by vandals, with her crown found more than a mile away in New Ash Green.
Crocheted red, white and blue bunting – which the group had been preparing since last year – was hung around the Hartley village sign by the green, and that too was ruined.
Strangely, the queen's three corgis had been left alone.
Hartley WI decided to re-instate the display but it was destroyed yet again a few days later as vandals "bashed" the Queen's head in on Saturday.
Hartley WI committee member Kay Turner said: "We are all so disheartened, really. You try to do something for the community and this happens. It is awful."
The members were able to fix the face on the display by pushing it back out, and said all that was missing this time was one earring.
They then moved the Queen up onto Manor Field, where the village was holding a street party for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Kay added: "It is not going back on the green as it would be awful for it to happen again. We had a good party up there and children were taking pictures with it."
