Princess Anne visits the Arrow Riding Centre in Dartford

A royal visitor stopped by to meet riders, volunteers, and steeds at a riding centre for people with special needs.
Princess Anne was at the Arrow Riding Centre in Darenth Park Avenue, Dartford, on Thursday, where a team of qualified coaches works with physiotherapists to develop tailor-made programmes for each of rider.
The centre relies on volunteers and donations to operate and boasts a number of impressive facilities, including indoor and outdoor training areas, and stables for 28 horses and ponies.
Her Royal Highness arrived via helicopter, touching down at the nearby Leigh Academy, and was shown round the centre and introduced to those who keep it running.
The centre is aiming to raise more than £200,000 for a few key projects in 2017, including £196,000 for an extension of the indoor area, which would make it eligible to host qualifying events for the Paralympics.
