Spider-Man’s latest adventure lit up the box office last month and youngsters channelled the famous superhero with some wall-crawling of their own.

Intrepid adventurers finished off the first week of their summer holiday by taking on a climbing wall at Acacia Hall in Dartford, part of Dartford council’s annual Summer Sizzlers programme.

Despite the lofty height of the wall, no previous experience of climbing was needed, with each child kitted out in a dashing helmet and a safety harness.
