Ebbsfleet Academy pupil attacked by two boys in Swanscombe

A teenager was left with facial injuries after an alleged attack involving two other boys close to a school.

Police were called to Swansombe following reports of an assault on Tuesday (March 26).

Ebbsfleet Academy in Southfleet Road, Swanscombe

It happened at the junction of Stanhope Road and Swanscombe Street just before 4pm.

A police spokesman said: “Officers attended and a teenage boy suffered facial injuries.

“It is alleged he was punched by two other boys. An investigation is ongoing.”

The Leigh Academies Trust confirmed the student who was assaulted attended nearby Ebbsfleet Academy.

A spokesman for the trust said: “We are cooperating with the authorities and providing support to the affected student and their family.

“As the matter is with the police, we are unable to comment further.”
