A man has been arrested in Kent on suspicion of murder after a man was allegedly stabbed to death by two moped-riding robbers.

The 25-year-old was held at an address in Dartford this week in connection with the death of Danny Pearce in Greenwich.

Mr Pearce was walking home from a jazz club in Nevada Street with his girlfriend and friends just after midnight on July 15 when he was confronted by two men on a moped in King William Walk.

They demanded he hand over his silver Rolex watch, and when he refused, he was subjected to a "sustained and violent" knife attack.

The 31-year-old died at the scene shortly after. A post-mortem examination confirmed he died of multiple stab wounds.

A 26-year-old man was arrested last month on suspicion of murder following raids at addresses in the Deptford area, and bailed until November.

The second suspect, who was arrested in Dartford on Wednesday, has been bailed until October while the investigation continues.

A reward of £10,000 is offered by the independent charity Crimestoppers for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Danny's murder.
