Dartford overcome their FA Cup disappointment from last weekend, beating Sittingbourne 1-0 in the FA Trophy First Qualifying Round.

Allan Tait's clever chip over Brickies keeper Steve Williams 16 minutes from time, was all the separated the two sides at Bourne Park.

Tait played a clever one-two with Danny Harris outside the box before spotting Williams off his sline and securing the Darts passage into the next round.

The striker nearly doubled the score trying to repeat the effort in the closing minutes, but his effort rebounded off a post.

Neither side really managed to get hold of the ball in difficult conditions, with a strong breeze blowing across the ground all afternoon.
