Eleven-mile queues on M25 after lorry crash near QEII Bridge in Dartford

Traffic is queuing for 11 miles after a crash involving a lorry near the QEII Bridge.

Three out of four lanes were closed just after the crossing between Junction 1A for the A206 and Junction 1B for Dartford.

Traffic was temporarily held while recovery was arranged but all lanes have now reopened.

Drivers heading into Kent from Essex are still being warned to expect severe delays on the approach.

Congestion is backed up for 11 miles to Junction 29 for Romford adding more than two hours to journey times.

It's understood a person was injured in the accident which happened just before 4pm.

Three fire engines attended and crews made the scene safe before the incident was handed over to Kent police, SECAmb and National Highways.
