Man attacked and driven at with car in Spital Street, Dartford

A man was punched and lashed at with a belt by strangers who then got into a car and drove at him.

The victim was enjoying a night out with friends when he was assaulted by two men unknown to him near Spital Street, Dartford, at around 4.30am on Saturday, April 2.

The man, who is in his 20s, was with a friend when he was reported to have been approached by three men, before one of them punched him and the second suspect used a belt to assault him.

The offenders are then said to have got into a car and driven it towards the victim. Thankfully, he only suffered minor injuries.

Officers have carried out several lines of inquiry and are now appealing for witnesses to contact them.

They are also interested in speaking with a woman who was seen with the suspects. She is said to be white, of petite build, around 5ft 4ins and wearing blue jeans.

The suspects are described as a white male with blonde hair and a black male who was wearing a belt.
