Teenager taken to hospital after attack in Lowfield Street, Dartford

A teenager was taken to hospital with a head injury after being attacked with a branch of wood.

Officers were called to Lowfield Street, in Dartford, to reports a group of youths were allegedly assaulting another youngster.

They carried out a search in the area but the gang had already left by the time they arrived.

Paramedics also attended and a teenage boy was taken to hospital for treatment to a minor head injury.

A second person was also reported to have been assaulted resulting in a minor arm injury.

They are both believed to have been attacked with branches of wood on Monday, April 10, at around 2pm.

A police spokesman said: "Officers continue to provide a visible policing presence in the area, and inquiries are ongoing to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident."
