Thieves have swiped a Victorian post box from a wall outside a pub.

The brazen culprits stole the period artefact - believed to be worth around £200 - from outside the Black Lion pub in Ash Road, Hartley.

It's not known whether there was any mail inside during the theft, although the post box is believed to be rarely used.
