Three men have been arrested after they fled from police this afternoon in Dartford.

Police cars and a helicopter were seen searching for the men after they made off from officers near Green Street Green Road in Darenth.

They remain in custody.

The activity sparked rumours on social media of a manhunt as witnesses reported the men running through gardens to escape police.
