A designer shop has closed one of its branches.
Tommy Hilfiger shut its store in Bluewater Shopping Centre, Greenhithe, near Dartford, over the weekend.
It is understood the retailer served its last customers yesterday (January 14) and some staff will be relocated to nearby stores.
Centre Director at Bluewater, James Waugh, said: “We are sorry to see Tommy Hilfiger close, and our thoughts are with those impacted by the closure.
“Creating a vibrant, varied retail destination is our priority and we are always looking for ways to provide our guests with new experiences.
“To keep the mix of restaurants and shops on offer at Bluewater fresh and relevant to our guests, we are constantly talking to brands about opening up new spaces.
“We are looking forward to sharing more details about some of the brands coming to the centre soon”.
The American brand was found in the lower guildhall next to Diesel and Monsoon.
However, now the nearest store for Kent customers is in Lakeside Shopping Centre, in Essex, or at the Designer Outlet, in Ashford.
