Dartford boss Tony Burman has warned his players this Saturday’s visit of ‘unpredictable’ Tonbridge will be one of their hardest games of the season.

Darts are only off the top of Blue Square Bet South on goal difference behind Woking, after three wins in a row and they have won all five games at Princes Park this season.

Burman (pictured) said: "I told the players that Staines and Tonbridge were going to be two of the hardest games we’ll play because they are so unpredictable.

"Staines came to us on the back of two good results and so are Tonbridge. It’s a local derby, there’ll be a big crowd and a good atmosphere."

After a 2-1 win at Farnborough on Saturday, Darts came from behind to beat Staines 2-1.

Burman said: "I was pleased with the second half performance. It was mature and in the end we deserved to win it."

Darts have recorded 23 points from their opening 10 games, with just one point separating the top three.

Burman said: "Most managers assess the table after 10 games and I am pleased with where we are. We need to keep being consistent but there is a long way to go and things can change quickly when winter arrives."

Paul Goodacre (knee) and Jon Wallis (groin) are rated 50/50 for the Angels clash.
