Tony Burman knows Dartford can't afford to be complacent against Kingstonian in FA Trophy

Dartford will want to avoid an upset on Saturday when they start their FA Trophy campaign with a trip to Kingstonian.

The clubs are separated by 50 league positions, although Darts manager Tony Burman knows his Blue Square Bet Premier high-fliers cannot afford to be complacent.

Dartford have relished their underdog tag in the league this season but the boot will be firmly on the other foot at Kingsmeadow.

"There’s nothing easy about it and the guys won’t treat it like that," Burman (pictured) insisted.

"Our players will have to show good attitude and work hard. We are the favourites but we’ve got to get things right on the day.

"We’d have liked to be at home and it’s not going to be easy but we’re looking forward to going there."

The last meeting between the sides was in April 2010 when Dartford memorably won 6-2 to clinch the Ryman League Premier Division title.

Elliot Bradbrook, Ryan Hayes, Danny Harris and Lee Burns scored for the Darts that day. The quartet are the only players to have remained at the club since and all four should be involved this weekend.
