Dartford manager Tony Burman is now ready to start looking elsewhere to build on a good finish to last season’s Blue Square Bet South campaign.

The Darts boss has already signed up 11 of last season's squad and released five others.

He said: "We’ve got targets and want to strengthen but we need to make sure the players we bring in are right and they are coming here for the right reason.

"Players have left but that happens every year as we’ve got to make room for new players to come in and we’ve got to balance the books."

Former player Andy Hessenthaler brings his Gillingham team to Princes Park on Friday, July 15 while Championship side Millwall (Tuesday, July 19) and League 2 outfit Southend (Monday, July 11) are also set to visit.
