Dartford ‘murder’ victim Denzel Njemo died from haemorrhage and stab wound

A teenager who was found dead in a town centre alleyway had been stabbed in the chest, an inquest has heard.
Denzel Iyanaka Njemo, of College Place, Greenhithe, died after being attacked in Suffolk Road, Dartford, earlier this month.
An inquest opening into the student’s death was held today at County Hall in Maidstone.
The court heard how the 18-year-old died in a passage linking Suffolk Road and Dartford High Street on Friday, April 14.
His cause of death was given as a haemorrhage and stab wound to the chest.
A full inquest will be held at the same venue on Wednesday, October 25.
Chris Enaruba, 19, of Beaconsfield Road, Greater London has already appeared in court, charged with murder.
Police say they have already spoken to a number of potential witnesses, but are continuing to appeal for information.
Detective Inspector Ross Gurden, of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, said: "We are working to establish the full circumstances and would like to speak to anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious, around or before 9.05pm on Friday evening.
"The area where the victim was assaulted was close to the town centre and there would have been pedestrians and vehicles in the area at the time.
"If you think you may be able to assist the investigation please don’t hesitate to call us."
