A motorcyclist has been injured following a crash with a Range Rover Sport on the approach to the Dartford crossing.

The A282, which leads from the M25 towards the crossing, was blocked following the crash on the anti-clockwise carriageway between junctions 1B and 1A at 1.35pm.

One lane of the clockwise carriageway was also closed but all traffic has now been released.

Police have confirmed the motorcyclist has been taken to hospital.

It is not yet known how badly they are injured.

Firefighters were also called to the crash and helped to make the scene safe.
