The anti-clockwise M25 shut at Dartford Tunnel after crash involving cars and van

There were delays on the M25 after a crash thought to have involved two cars and a van in the Dartford Tunnel.

The accident happened in the right-hand tunnel just before 4pm.

All traffic on the anti-clockwise carriageway was held and prevented from using either tunnel for about 20 minutes.

The left-hand bore was reopened first while the other remained closed.

Traffic was allowed back into the right-hand side from about 4.30pm.
