Two arrested after couple attacked outside Knockhall Primary School in Greenhithe

Two people have been arrested after a couple were attacked outside a primary school.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance in Eynsford Road, Greenhithe, that left a 19-year-old man with a fractured cheekbone.

His 17-year-old girlfriend was also injured.

It happened at around 9.15pm on Sunday.

Police today confirmed they have arrested two people on suspicion of assault and robbery.

A spokesman said: "A 17-year-old boy from Rochester has subsequently been bailed pending further enquiries until 11 February.

"A 20-year-old woman from Greenhithe has been released under investigation."
