Two men were arrested on suspicion of theft, following a police chase on the M25.

Officers pulled over a car on the motorway between Junction 2 for Dartford and Junction 3 for Maidstone and Swanley yesterday, in an operation involving officers from Kent and Surrey.

The police helicopter also aided in the pursuit.

The police safely stopped the vehicle just before midnight, and two men, aged 25 and 39, were arrested.

Both men remain in police custody.
