Job vacancies have been left unfilled for new roles after a jobs fair at Bluewater offered up hundreds of positions.
More than 1,000 jobseekers attended the shopping centre with 60 employers offering positions.
The 500 jobs available on permanent and temporary roles were not all snapped up though with 384 people given offers and more second interviews being arranged.
The event, opened by the Mayor of Dartford Rosanna Currans, saw roles offered in the hospitality and retail industries as the sector seeks to continue bouncing back from the economic effects of the pandemic.
Employers on the day included Primark, Next, Wagamama and Pizza Express with Bluewater bosses working in partnership with North Kent College and the government to line up a talented pool of candidates.
Robert Goodman, senior centre director at Bluewater, said: “We had no doubt that the Jobs Fair would be another success. The talent this year was exceptional, and we are looking forward to welcoming some of these candidates to our team here at Bluewater.”
