A multi-vehicle accident involving a horsebox partially blocked the M25 in Kent this morning.

The collision happened between junction three and the Darenth Interchange, near Dartford.

A car and a van were involved in the crash which resulted in traffic is queueing on the London-bound carriageway.

One lane was closed in response to the incident.

All vehicles involved in the incident have been moved to the hard shoulder and the lane has re-opened.

Police and National Highways have been approached for more information.
