A man has been charged with possessing a knife and drugs after being stopped by a Special Constable.

Florin-Catalin Haydu, was spotted by a volunteer office in High Street, Dartford, after he became suspicious of Haydu reportedly smoking weed in an alleyway on Saturday.

The 25-year-old was subsequently arrested and charged with possessing a flick knife and possessing a controlled drug.

Haydu, of Priory Road, Dartford, has been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 27.
