For the past 17 years, web agency mso based at Green Road, Dartford, has built up a valuable client base using a highly skilled team of 22.

As a web service provider, the company also looks at global opportunities and currently works with clients in Europe and North America. Previously it worked with customers in Asia and Australia.

Clients include a number of schools developing their websites using mso’s own technical product for the education market called My Parent Portal. School administrators are frequently overburdened with data input, inquiries and school reports. These are now available under one roof digitally and parents can also access school reports.

The motorsport industry features strongly on mso’s client base. The Motor Sports Association (MSA) which is the official governing body for UK motor sports required a more interactive website. The deployment of news updates, resources, information, image and video galleries has helped to anchor the website at the heart of the MSA’s marketing and communication.

The site provides real-time information and digital assets to the MSA’s stakeholders, members, press and general users.

Eurotunnel also contacted mso with a view to overhauling its online booking system. In 2014, The Port of London Authority launched its media centre where mso planned, designed and built the information hub that now forms the one-stop resource for media.

Further exciting projects are planned for 2015 such as collaborating on digital marketing, content marketing and using the latest cutting edge technology.

Marketing assistant Sarah Honour said: “We organise our own technology talks and exhibit at trade shows. We work hard to get full engagement from our staff by offering all employees their own training budget for skills training and continuing professional development.”

The company was one of many who entered the Dartford and Gravesham Business Awards, which are now in their 10th year.

They are supported by the Messenger, and each entrant gets a free profile in our papers and on our website.

This year’s award sponsors were Dartford council, Gravesham council, Barnes Roffe, Kent Business School (University of Kent), the KM Group (Dartford Messenger and Gravesend Messenger), Lloyds Bank, Thomson Snell and Passmore, Edinburgh House, University of Greenwich and Mid Kent College.
